Forever Begins Today: Emma and Rob's Rustic Autumn Wedding at Old Luxters Barn
Emma and Rob's wedding day was a true celebration of their love for one another. The couple met 9 years ago at the University of Worcester, and after a perfect proposal, they tied the knot at Old Luxters Barn in a beautiful rustic autumn wedding. The venue was the perfect backdrop for their special day, capturing the essence of autumn with its cosy and intimate setting.
Emma looked absolutely stunning in her Maggie Sottero gown, a lace fishtail style that perfectly suited her figure. She had this to say about her dress journey, "I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Mo and Jackie for all their help and support with my dress journey. It made it so easy for me, and Mo instantly put me at ease. Especially when I came to find my dress, originally being plus-sized, I was so worried I would look silly or look bigger, and Mo made me feel amazing, so thank you!"
The couple's wedding theme was a rustic autumn style, and they put their DIY skills to good use by drying their own confetti petals, using tree branches from Emma's in-laws garden as decor, and even making their own jam for favors. It was a day filled with personal touches, captured beautifully by Red Door Photography and Rosewood Wedding Films.
One of the most magical moments of the day was when Emma's dad saw her for the first time. It was a moment that they will both cherish forever. Emma also had some words of wisdom for future Sophie Grace Bridal brides, "Savour every moment as the day honestly flies by and enjoy every bit of the build-up. Finally, take a moment away with your partner to soak in the day! Don’t be scared to say no to people as well. It’s all about you, so it’s important to make sure it’s your decisions, not everyone else’s influence."
